Your Questions About the Directory

Where does the directory come from, and how do I keep it up to date?
SaaSOffice syncs natively with your HRIS (Workday, Lucca, BambooHR, and others). Hires, terminations, and job changes are automatically updated. Managers can edit non-sensitive fields (photo, team, floor) via self-service. Complete audit trail of changes made in the HR console, HRIS compliance ensured, and full traceability.
Can NOVA understand a vague question, such as “the IT manager in Lyon”?
Yes, that’s the primary use case. NOVA decodes even a rough intent—an imprecise job title, a forgotten name, or a partial company name. If multiple candidates match, NOVA presents a shortlist directly within the conversation. If nothing matches, it offers to switch to the traditional text-based directory with filters—there’s never a dead end.
What about privacy? Can everyone see all the profiles?
Access rights are based on your HRIS settings and your organization’s HR policies. A record can be public (position, site, team), restricted (employee ID, direct email), or hidden, depending on the requester’s profile. NOVA adheres strictly to these permissions and never grants access beyond them. “Incognito presence” mode remains available for employees who wish to use it.
